Large inground corten steel custom house number stake

Absolute statement house number signs cut from recycled 3mm corten rusting steel. 

Lisa's large inground corten steel number sign come in two sizes:  

• The original - 1.5m long and 60cm wide.
• The new smaller size - 1.4m long and 50cm wide. 

These signs are unable to be sent internationally due to shipping size restrictions. 

Font and detail on the sign is your choice.  A significant amount of detail may incur additional costs.

INSTALLATION

The number needs to be pushed into the ground and set with concrete. 

Once installed, wipe fingerprints off the front of the work as these areas can rust first.

Corten steel is an architectural steel.  Unlike cheaper steel alternatives - that will rust away over time - the patina that forms around corten steel is a protective layer and makes it stronger and stronger as it ages.

When you first receive the stake, it will most likely not have been pre rusted.  It will gradually shift from its raw grey state, through shades of orange, reddish brown to a darker brown over the years when it’s in your garden.  corten looks more fabulous the more it ages.

The stake can be collected from Lisa in Mairangi Bay, Auckland, due to the size and weight or be can shipped around NZ for an additional fee.
