Lisa's large corten steel house number stakes are designed and made in Auckland, New Zealand from premium 3mm corten weathering steel.

These oversized signs are designed to create a strong first impression at the entrance to your home, driveway or rural property. Over time, the corten steel develops a rich rusted patina that protects the steel and gives each piece its own natural character.

Available in two sizes:

• Original size — 1.5m high x 60cm wide
• Smaller size — 1.4m high x 50cm wide

Each custom address stake is made to order with your choice of house number, font and design details. More intricate fonts or detailed artwork may incur an additional design fee.

Designed for New Zealand Conditions

Corten steel is an architectural-grade weathering steel designed to be used outdoors year-round. Unlike standard mild steel that can deteriorate over time, corten forms a protective rusted outer layer that helps preserve the steel underneath.

Your sign may arrive in its raw grey steel state or partially weathered. As it is exposed to the elements, the surface will naturally develop through shades of orange and reddish brown into a darker, more established rusted finish.

No two pieces weather exactly the same, which is part of the beauty of corten steel.

Installation

These large steel number stakes are designed to be installed directly into the ground and secured with concrete for stability.

After installation, we recommend wiping fingerprints from the surface, as oils from hands can temporarily affect the early rusting process.

Due to their oversized dimensions, these cannot be shipped internationally.

Collection is available from Mairangi Bay, Auckland, or shipping can be arranged throughout New Zealand for an additional oversized freight fee:

• North Island — $35
• South Island — $55
