What makes LisaSarah wall art different?

Each design is our own, cut and layered from steel so it stands off the wall with real depth rather than sitting flat like a print. Many pieces combine metal with hand-tied rope, a mixed-media approach that brings in texture and warmth. Designed and made in New Zealand, and built to last indoors or out.

Can you make large wall art, statement pieces and wall sculptures?

Yes. Many designs can be made to size, including large wall art, statement pieces and dimensional 3D wall sculptures over a metre wide. Send your wall measurements for a custom quote.

What metals is your wall art made from?

Each design is cut from the metal best suited to it: corten steel for a natural rust patina, powder-coated steel or aluminium for colour finishes, and marine-grade stainless for coastal sites. Many pieces are then finished with hand-tied rope as a mixed-media element. Every piece is made in New Zealand to handle local conditions, indoors or out.

Can any piece go outdoors?

Yes. All LisaSarah wall art is suitable for outdoor use, so a piece you love inside can move to a patio or sheltered wall later. For designs chosen specifically for exterior spaces, see the outdoor wall art.

How do I choose the right size wall art?

As a rough guide, art looks best filling around two-thirds of the wall or the furniture it sits above. The designer's guide to choosing wall art for your NZ home covers size, placement and material in plain language.

Where is your wall art made?

Every piece is designed by Lisa and cut from steel or metal in Auckland, then finished by hand. LisaSarah has made over 50,000 pieces since 2007, with work featured in Trends and Home Beautiful. LisaSarah is also available through selected design stores, and gift vouchers are available.
