Kowhai flower and leaf in rusting corten steel, tied on rope and ready to hang.

The kowhai is the flower most people picture when they picture New Zealand.  Lisa has kept the design minimal and artistic.  

Cut from New Zealand corten steel and hand finished in Auckland.  Corten is a weathering steel, so it is meant to rust. The rust forms a protective skin on the outside while the steel underneath stays strong, and the colour deepens over the first few seasons.

Steel dimensions: Flower 40cm, leaf 28cm

Total drop:  Approximately 1.2m from the top of the rope to the bottom of the steel.  Each one is tied by hand so lengths vary slightly.

Material:  New Zealand corten weathering steel on rope

Suitable for:  Indoor and outdoor walls

Hanging:  Ready to hang. Comes tied as shown, and the rope can be adjusted to suit your space.
