"Koru" meaning "new beginnings" is inspired by a new unfurling silver fern frond.
Coveted by galleries, it measures 400mm in diameter and hangs at approximately 95cm long including steel and rope. This is easily adjustable to suit your space.
The koru is cut from premium NZ stainless steel and electro powdercoated in a Dulux matte white architectural coating that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The koru is a spiral shape symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. It is an integral symbol in Maori art. The circular shape of the koru helps to convey the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.
This artwork does not need one of Lisa's wall dot hooks and looks best when hung with a simple hook, screw or nail.
