About corten steel

Many pieces are available in corten steel, which naturally weathers into a rich, rusted surface. As it settles there may be a little runoff where it touches another surface. This is part of the natural process and eases as the steel seals. You can weather a piece off the wall first if you prefer, or rinse the area after heavy rain.
