A pool area needs somewhere to hang towels, robes and hats that can cope with sun, splashes and chlorine, and looks better than a plastic peg. That's exactly what my outdoor steel hooks are made for. Here's how to choose hooks for a pool or spa area.
Poolside is a tough spot. There's constant moisture, chlorine or salt in the air, and full sun. A properly finished steel hook handles all of that where a cheap one rusts or fades. Mine are cut from steel and finished for outdoor life, so they stay looking good season after season.
For a pool or spa, I'd point you to marine-grade stainless or powder-coated finishes. Marine-grade stainless is the same grade used on boats, so it shrugs off salt and chlorine. Powder-coated black or white suits a modern pool fence and stays sharp in the sun.
The pool fence, a nearby wall, the side of a cabana or pool house, or a changing area all work well. A row of hooks along a fence gives everyone a spot for their towel and keeps things off the ground. Mount them at a height the whole family can reach.
Simple, sculptural shapes look best by a pool, single hooks for a tidy row or a set as a feature. Many double as a little piece of outdoor art, which is a nicer look than standard hardware.
Hooks come with pre-cut holes to screw to the fence or wall. The right fixing depends on whether it's timber, block or plaster, so I don't supply screws, and my installation guide covers each.

Not the right ones. Marine-grade stainless is made for salt and chlorine exposure, and powder-coated finishes seal the steel. Give them an occasional rinse of fresh water and they'll last for years.
